Wellpoint Care Network has championed the success of families for nearly 175 years. We know that unresolved trauma can lead to a host of challenges for children, adults and families, the most concerning of which is the instability it causes in key areas of life. But, what adversity tears down, our caring, trauma-informed staff can help build back up.
Because Wellness is the Point of All We Do.
Accessible Mental Health Care for All
We meet people where they are
In-person. Telehealth. In neighborhood schools and community clubs. Access to the right mental health services can promote recovery from trauma. This year, we received a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic grant, which will expand access to behavioral health services and reduce the disparities of health outcomes for residents of Milwaukee County.

Safe, Stable and Happy Children & Families
Helping families learn how to heal and thrive
Case management. Wrap-around care. Foster & kinship care. We help people involved in Wisconsin’s child welfare system find stability so they can overcome adversity. In 2022, we served individuals in 40 counties across Wisconsin. You can learn more about the experience of a foster parent by reading Beth’s Story.

Trauma-informed Training & Consulting
At the forefront of Trauma Informed Care for 15 years
Cutting-edge science. Hands-on activities. Real-world applications. The tools, resources and best practices we teach are vital to understanding the sources and impacts of trauma in work with children, teens, adults and families.

What adversity tears down, we build up

It’s time to build a better cycle
We lead with empathy, compassion, respect and transparency to support people in five vital areas that have been proven to bolster individual and family stability and prevent or reduce the need for later deep-end interventions.

A PLACE TO RESTORE CONNECTIONS
Expanding outreach to become a community anchor
To heal from trauma, people need connections: to caring individuals, a supportive community, nature and beauty and high-quality supportive services. That’s why we’re engaging neighbors, friends and network partners more than ever before.

Central to All Healing is Equity
You can’t address trauma without also addressing equity
Understanding the significant role of systemic racism is central to healing. That’s why one of our main goals is to diversify our workforce, executive team and board of directors to reflect the richness and diversity of the people we serve.
