Ann Leinfelder Grove has served Wellpoint Care Network for over 30 years in a number of senior leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and COO with oversight of all agency programs. She has championed the program implementation of Wellpoint’s Trauma Informed Care model, as well as Seven Essential Ingredients (7ei), including programs in child welfare, where translational research has demonstrated improved outcomes through the use of 7ei-based, trauma-informed program practice.
As CEO, Ann’s strategic vision has enhanced Wellpoint’s partnerships in the community and has advanced a culture of equity and inclusion at Wellpoint.
Education & Experience
Ann Leinfelder Grove is President and CEO of Wellpoint Care Network, a Wisconsin organization delivering human services to 5,000 people daily, including mental health, child and family well-being and community-based care management. Wellpoint is a national leader in trauma informed practice, training and consultation. Ann has served Wellpoint in several leadership roles in her 32-year tenure, including oversight of all programs as Executive Vice President and COO, and directing administrative services as Chief Administrative Officer. Her role to advance strategic direction and innovation has helped grow Wellpoint’s community collaboration and improved results for the children and families served.
Ann’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion has enhanced the internal focus on DEI and workforce diversification as well as expansion of external community partnerships. Ann serves as a Board member of the Wisconsin Association of Family and Children’s Agencies (WAFCA) and is a member of the CEO Council of Social Current, a national member organization promoting change in the social sector. Ann has a master’s degree in business management from Cardinal Stritch University and a bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison.
