Promoting Child & Family Well-being
Wellpoint Care Network’s Child and Family Well-being Services help bring safety and stability to the lives of young people and families engaged in (or at risk of involvement with) the child welfare system.
Using our unique trauma-informed framework, we focus on five main areas, which we call the Five Pillars of Stability: health, housing, education, employment and caring connections. Research and experience have shown that when individuals can meet their needs in these core areas of life, they are more likely to succeed.
Through our partnerships with Wisconsin’s Department of Children and Families, the Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services, Milwaukee County Behavioral Health System and a broad network of community partners and organizations, we are committed to helping children and families move from safety to stability, overcome trauma and ultimately thrive.
