We view this process as a vital part of enhancing the client experience and identifying opportunities for continuous quality improvement.

Grievances may be submitted via online form to ensure the concern is documented in writing. Retaliation against anyone who exercises their right to file a grievance is strictly prohibited. Any allegations of retaliation will be treated as a separate and distinct matter from the original complaint.

Medical Records Policy
All individuals who have received services at Wellpoint Care Network have the right to access their medical records in accordance with DHS 51.30. Requests for clients age 14-17 must contain client and parent signatures.

When you get emergency care or are treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network care facility, you should not be charged more than your plan’s copayments, coinsurance and/or deductible.
