Wellpoint Care Network has championed the success of Wisconsin families for nearly 175 years. We know that unresolved trauma can lead to a host of challenges for children, adults and families ― including instability in key areas of life. But what adversity tears down, our caring, knowledgeable staff can build back up.
As a national leader in recognizing and addressing the impacts of trauma, we offer a comprehensive array of prevention, intervention and crisis resources to facilitate equity, learning, healing and wellness by restoring the connections that help children and families thrive.
Thanks to a SAMHSA multi-year grant, Wellpoint Care Network became one of only two Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) in Wisconsin. Our Integrated Model of Care combines mental health, substance abuse and primary health services to treat the whole person — not just one symptom at a time.
The physical, behavioral and emotional needs of children and teens navigating the child welfare system can range from moderate to complex. Our foster parents and staff are trained in Trauma Informed Care practices to help children and parents heal and thrive.
Our frameworks have been designed with the non-clinical, task-shifting community in mind. We teach concrete, practical strategies that work from the classroom to the boardroom, and we’ve seen the positive difference they’ve made in the community.
When the Five Pillars of Stability go unfulfilled, it’s impossible for a person to truly thrive. Leading with empathy, compassion, respect and transparency, we partner with families and individuals to help them achieve stability and reach their fullest potential.
