Wellpoint Care Network Welcomes Nancy Reed as Chief Program Officer

MILWAUKEE — Wellpoint Care Network is pleased to announce that Nancy Reed has joined the organization as Chief Program Officer.

Nancy is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who comes to the organization with almost 30 years of healthcare experience. Most recently, she was the Director of Intake and Admissions at Granite Hills Hospital and prior to that worked at Children’s WI for over 27 years in various leadership and clinical roles.

“The Chief Program Officer position is an executive role that will help align programming across the entire organization and build effective cross-team collaboration to enhance quality of care delivery and break down barriers to success.,” said Ann Leinfelder Grove, President and CEO at Wellpoint Care Network. “The role has been something we’ve considered for some time and Nancy has the rare career experience of leadership with both child welfare and mental health programming. Her experience and her passion were a great fit to help further advance our mission of helping children and families thrive.”

Reed is a value-centered leader who is passionate about equity.

“As the Chief Program Officer at Wellpoint Care Network, I am looking forward to helping position the organization for future growth and collaborating across all teams to ensure equitable care,” said Reed. “I came to Wellpoint Care because I am a strong supporter of the Trauma Informed Care framework and believe it empowers children and families to truly heal.”

Reed is also working towards her MBA at Marquette University.
