Wellpoint Care Network and Outreach Community Health Centers Partner to Expand Behavioral Health Services to Milwaukee Families
MILWAUKEE, WIS. — Wellpoint Care Network and Outreach Community Health Centers are proud to announce a new partnership that will bring expanded mental health services and support to individuals and families across Milwaukee.
Outreach Community Health Centers (OCHC) currently serves more than 25,000 patients annually, many of whom have behavioral health needs and would benefit from additional support and services. Wellpoint Care Network will now serve as a behavioral health provider for OCHC patients, providing traditional talk therapy, occupational therapy, art therapy, medication management, and more.

In turn, patients receiving behavioral health services from Wellpoint Care clinicians will be connected to OCHC’s full range of services, including primary medical care, psychiatry, lab & pharmacy services, and dental services. The partnership helps support an integrated approach to care and will establish coordinated referral pathways between the organizations, helping individuals and families quickly connect with care and support they need, with no wait list.

While this partnership marks a major step forward, it is only the beginning of a deeper commitment to ensuring individuals and families have what they need to truly thrive.
