At Wellpoint Care Network, we’re creating pathways to a thriving tomorrow — for children, families and communities across Wisconsin. We’ve been a local human-services provider for nearly as long as Milwaukee has existed as a city. What began as care for children who lost parents to cholera has blossomed into an array of services for children, youth, adults and families.
On October 21, 2025, we launched our 175th Anniversary Campaign and Celebration as the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and the State of Wisconsin recognized Wellpoint Care Network Day for our ongoing mission to help children and families thrive. It was the beginning of a 14-month journey that will give us opportunities to listen, learn and shape the future with partners who share a commitment to our mission.

All of our events are centered around the Five Pillars of Stability framework, because when people are strong in these areas, they’re able to work on restoring connections with families, friends and the broader community.

In partnership with UMOS and the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, we’re bringing more mental health support to children and families while strengthening family stability across Milwaukee.
Housing Stability Breakfast

We will convene policy leaders, workforce partners, and community organizations to explore practical housing solutions while elevating our Youth Transitioning to Adulthood and Supervised Independent Living programs.
Employment Solutions Convening
Summer 2026
We will work with policy, workforce and community partners to examine actionable employment solutions while continuing to spotlight our Youth Services programs.
