Wellpoint Care Network Kicks Off 175th Anniversary Campaign
As Wellpoint Care marks its 175th anniversary, it stands as one of Wisconsin’s oldest and most trusted human service organizations — still headquartered in the heart of Milwaukee, still driven by a mission of compassion and self-reliance.
Our 175th anniversary is more than a milestone. It’s a testament to the resilience of the people and communities we serve and the generations of staff, partners and supporters who have carried our mission forward.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re launching our 175th Anniversary Campaign, a 14-month journey that will carry us through 2026 and beyond.
This campaign is about connection and collaboration. It will give us opportunities to listen, learn, and co-create solutions with partners and share our commitment to the Five Pillars of Stability.
Together, we’ll explore what families need most right now, the challenges our community faces, and the opportunities we have to build stronger systems of support.
As we look ahead, I want to invite each of you to be part of this next chapter with us. A chapter where every child and family in Milwaukee has the chance not only to stabilize, but to thrive.
And because this work starts with each of us, our staff will also be putting our values into action, dedicating 175 hours of volunteer service across the community in honor of this milestone year.
